Regulatory Review Group
This
group was set up by the previous Scottish Executive to look
at regulatory issues affecting small businesses. I was
appointed
Chair. Under
the new Scottish Government its role has been expanded to
include all regulation affecting all business as well as
how the Government delivers on its better regulation
agenda. I will report annually to the First Minister and
Cabinet on how the Scottish Civil Service, its Agencies,
etc. have performed in these matters. It reflects the role
of the Better Regulations Committee in England.
