South Tyneside Transformational Project
South Tyneside under the leadership of the
Council embarked on an ambitious project to transform the
area. A small oversight panel of 5 was created to meet
every three months to examine progress and challenge the
reality of the transformation over the first 1000 days of
the project. We produced our final report at the end of the
first 1000 days of the project and judged that some parts
had gone well and others needed further attention. The
Transformation Project has continued well and our
recommendations were accepted.
